What a great start to the day :D I am only trading until 14:30 and then we are going on a family picnic to enjoy the sunshine.

In the first at Epsom I laid the favourite at 2.26 and it went out to 2.50....which was nice :P

In the first race at Catterick I laid the favourite at 2.90 and it went out to 3.50 :P

Let's see what the third race brings

Odd activity at Catterick. The horse that was playing up and withdrawn was heavily backed?!?!? Caught me out.

Maybe I will quit early and leave for my picnic in the sunshine. I just laid To the Spring 14:00 Musselburgh at 3.30 and traded out at 4.20 :P

I feel like I've hardly traded today, not much going on for me. Oh well it's red hot and the weekend is here :D

Exactly over the same here, a very quiet day. Even the Oaks was quiet.

I had a brilliant start in the first few races, made my normal days profit, since then not made hardly anything.

Difficult to get matched, getting filled at Epsom has been difficult. It felt like I was at/near the front of the queue but other money was being matched in front of me, like was mentioned on here a week or so ago regarding XM.

Yep im almost convinced thats whats happening, the other day i placed a 200-00 back bet and had 185-00 matched very quickly, the other 15-00 wasn't matched even though there was about 2.5 K matched on the lay side in the 45 seconds or so i was in front of the queue waiting ot be matched.

don't know what BF are doing but being a the front does not mean what it used to it seems.

Same here... first 3 races were great trading fodder... not very much going on after. Wish I had followed JG's plans of going for a picnic....!

i found the last 3 days, daytime cards very dull, like trading in treacle; the evening cards quite the opposite.

I agree, definitely easier for me in the evening than the afternoon at the moment.

I've found it pretty good. Maybe a bit more static than you guys like? Personally volume felt pretty good, much better than an average weekday for sure

I've been away recently and just been catching up on the forum posts of the last 10 days or so and one thing really stands out. All of a sudden XM seems to be getting blamed for just about everything despite it being in place for quite sometime now.

I don't think people are pinning blame on it, its just taken time for people to understand it's impact on their trading.

We saw the impact immediately as did some other Bet Angel traders, who were more reliant on fill rate than others. But it's definately changed things.

Yeah agree it has changed things. But not everything.

I think people need to be careful not to incorrectly blame things on XM and therefore miss the actual cause for whatever they are seeing. Some of the posts I read were saying things about cross matching impacting on things where an understanding of cross matching was clearly missing.

As for today's trading I have found it pretty good tbh, got some good results at Epsom and found the Oaks to be my best race of the day so far.....
