I don't suppose anyone knows of where I can get a spreadsheet designed for arbsters, which compares Betfair's live price with those of bookie(s) using an XML feed?
Thanks
Jeff

Have you thought of arbitrage between Betfair and BetDaq?

It's something I've considered, but I imagine there are already people with spreadsheets which seek out and profit from discrepancies(just as you'd be unlikely to be able to make a guaranteed profit when the Betfair back book drops under 100%, for the same reason).
But thanks for the suggestion.

I reason I said it is because for the last two days I've been thinking about XML feeds and came up with this idea just acaouple of hours ago.
Just set up an account with BetDaq to check this idea out. Have you bought any arbitrage software from the internet. I did and sometimes it doesn't provide any information like now, since Royal Ascot began 10 days ago. So, I have to get the arbitrage myself. Been researching XML feed ideas since yesterday.

I dont think there are many that provides an XML feed...but Pinnacle do:-

Then click on the link at the bottom (XML Feed)
Also, I think you'll find that Betfair have stopped a single spreadsheet being used to connect to Betfair and Betdaq. It used to be possible, but not anymore

Some of these links might also be worth trying:

Betfair's restriction re. Betdaq strikes me as anti-competitive (although I'm sure Betfair's lawyers have made sure that they're on the right side of Gibraltar's laws!).

Have a look at Racing Synergy - http://www.bettingautomation.com/racingsynergy.php.
IMHO, the main challenge you'll face when arbing with bookies is that your account will probably be shut in double quick time if you're using substanatial stakes.
A limitation with Racing Synergy is that the odds aren't completely up to date. That's not a problem if the start of the race is two hours away, and the odds aren't changing all the time, but it might be a tad frustrating 5 minutes before the off!

I'll look out my xml feeds later, I only have ones for 4 of the main bookmakers and to be honest I never found them 100% reliable so if a price appeared on the xml feed that looked good, it wasn't always the case it was there on the website.
I spent a couple of years studying the data between bookmaker and Betfair prices and came to the conclusion that I couldn't find anything of use
If you want simple arbing opportunities then try google'ing RebelBetting. As others have said, although I've never tried it myself, I think your account will be closed sharpish and you need a big float to make any sort of money from arbing.

You won't last long I'm afraid
SportingBet, Hills, Corals, SkyBet and BetFred have all closed my accounts.
Actually, technically that's not true, they just restrict me to £2 stakes which makes arbing impossible.
You don't even need to be a winner - They identify steamer accounts and restrict your bets ASAP
This used to be easy money a few years back, but the bookies cottoned on
