what a load of nonsense :)
Ballabriggs was tired after the Grand National so let's aboloish the whip.
I have a better idea let's remove the jockies (lugging 12 stone around is cruel) and get rid of the fences too while we are it.

One of the biggest days racing of the year yesterday and all the BBC can do is trot out the same old rubbish about the whip debate - no mention of anything from the fantastic day's racing at Ascot.

Imagine FA cup final day and you switch on the news to hear a report on corruption in football but they don't bother to give you the cup final score...

Should they ban heading the ball in football because players could suffer brain damage?

Its easier to imagine Martin Atkinson (the ref) chasing around the pitch and administering the whip to several of the lazier players on the Stoke team. Of course the BBC may report it as justifiable encouragement.
