If anyone is interested there is a program on Channel 5 at 8pm about flying racehorses from the UK to Hong Kong which might be of interest to people.

Thanks, always wondered what's involved. Did you see the documentary on Meydan. Amazing!

I'm tempted to holiday in Dubai this winter and will try to get to Meydan.

Yes saw that - very good. When I was living there only 5 years ago it hadn't even been thought about - quite amazing!

There has also been a good one on the Burj Al Arab, not one for name dropping ;) but I might add I had lunch there with Sheikh Mo at the very top of it. Thankfully he picked up the tab :D

I have some good video footage of Sheikh Mo's main Horse Transporting Jumbo Jet and loading the horses up etc which I will post on Youtube at some point when I get around to it.

And yes they do have Economy, Business Class and First Class travel for horses

I really want to go back to Dubai just to see how it has changed, I flew in the other week and couldn't believe how much it looked like it had changed in just 5 years.

Me and Mo go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back - he often pops round for a cuppa when he is in my neck of the woods.

Only messing, I was on the Darley Flying Start course (http://www.darleyflyingstart.com/) which he is kind enough to provide. You usually get to meet him on the course at least once and one time we meet him at the Burj for lunch where you get to chat away with him and ask/quiz him on stuff.
