Different day same shit!
Late at Carlisle so that will run into Salisbury! Once again a crap start where there appears to be no real money in the market!

The fancied and well supported Byronic Hero had to be WALKED to the start without his jockey!pt9091 wrote:what's the hold up at Carlisle?
Dazzlin Bluebell then reared up and fell backwards whilst loading!

Thought it has been pretty good so far tbh.
Mr lumpy has made it interesting with his backs and lays shaking up the markets.

You couldn't make it up. The horse playing up at the start at Worcester and then when they get her on the course the starter stands there like a spare part at a wedding - polite version - refusing to twang his elastic band! Then when nothing had really changed he decided to let them go anyway!

It just seems to be false money to me, I cannot get a feel for the way things are moving. There are negative vibes about a horse but having drifted it suddenly plummets in price despite nothing actually changing. I made money at Carlisle 14:30 but how was Bedlam smashed back in despite all the negatives? The donkey is still running.
I know the form of the race is not always indicative of a market move but when a race like that one occurs it makes you wonder if it is real money or just people with deep pockets playing silly buggers?
I have a friend at Carlisle today and he told me the favourite was not fancied by anyone at the course and the bookies were keen to take it on for any amounts. All the punters at the track were betting two horses, the winner Bop It and the runner up Joshua the First. That makes it more incredulous that the favourite having drifted was then supported back in?
Rant over!

I agree. Traders using the big bet tactic late on which held the price down. Obviously not enough real lay money to call their bluff.
What's up with bookies these days? They're just on course pre-race traders now.

Don't buy it is trader at all.
We have seen this pattern for the last few years now, we are just going through another of the cycles imo. The same patterns happen each and every time.
