Hi all,
I have just purchased office 2010 so that I could use excel within Bet Angel.
I started with the basic template supplied but when I load the excel doc and do 'open workbook' it gives me an error message of something like...
Unable to open excel - Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID{ lots of digits } failed due to the following error - 80040154
Can you please help or I have wasted £80 on Office 2010

Try and put the error in to google and see what comes up.

I googled it and the main reason I found was an unregistered class.. especially whith windows 7 64bit. So.. emailed the vendors who gave me another download link for a 64bit version. Just re installed and its working a treat.
So.. anyone using 64bit make sure you ask for a win 7 64bit version.

I just seem to have endless minor probs at the moment.. but the forum is excellent.
