Just listening to the presenters on RUK at Haydock saying that the course does not like punters using mobiles and tablets to make a bet and actively discourage it, wonder if they have doormen to throw you out? :D

I thought I would re-raise this thread so comment on how funny the evening coverage has been with James and Nick. It brought a big smile to my face this evening to hear the banter.

Some courses are quite relaxed it seems and others not so relaxed. I guess there will be fewer people on mobiles and laptops from now on anyway!

Peter
Alot of racecourses still put in the racecard that "the use of telecommunications equipment in any form is prohibited in the betting ring"
Im sure it also states somwhere that it is ok in one of the private boxes if 6 of you chip in £200 a head!!NOT

I ended up taking the day off after the few races I did as I just wasn't in the right frame of mind but a bit annoyed I missed Willo. He is bar far the best presenter imo. I love his sense of humour - when he gave us a talk on the Darley course he was great though he put us all so at ease and it felt like he was one of the gang we started to tell him some stories from some of our nights out and showed him some photos and videos from one of our nights out and one particular escapade.....

He seemed to enjoy it but unfortunately he also must have mentioned it to the people who run the course as a few days later we were all summoned and told how we were expected to behave in talks in the future

Team Willo up with Nick who I really like or Angus who I don't like a lot of the time and it can be hilarious viewing.
