Hi
All just a quick question, if i wanted to trade £5 a tick what is the minimum bank size i would need. I have been seeing alot of write ups on other forums where people have used whole banks (something i wouldn’t do) and unable to close out. Something about liability setting. I have mine set at £1000

This will vary depending on if you are backing or laying and at what price.

If you back with £100 at 5's you will only have a liability of £100 so you can close that position if you lay it back with a bank of £100. Your 'liabililty' on that trade however will be multiples of that £100, so don't forget that.

If you lay first your liabilty is much higher to start and the trade will fail if the liabilty is too low.
