Hooray, I managed to type July and not June this time :D

Did anyone else notice the crazy money on Bapak Pintar 14:00 Ayr? About 30 seconds before the off someone was dumping multiples of ~£2K and the money on various prices was just disappearing. I managed to turn a profit on it by dumping orders above and below the LTP but I was slightly shocked to see that in a race with ~£500K traded on it.

It's a bit weird today, profitable but very slow. I don't think I'll be running up a big total on these races unless something changes with the flow of money.

The Ffos Las 14:50 shows £790K matched pre-race but it felt very slow and more like a £300K evening market.

They seem to have volatile moments when some numpty hits them with stupid amounts but overall they are pretty slow and predictable. The downside is the lack of money being matched quickly enough so you're exposed for a bit longer than I would like. I have cut stakes down and am happy grabbing any profit I can without pushing too hard. I just feel if you have a "lump" in one position then Mr Numpty could hit you and that will mean chasing your position to get out with the minimum loss.

Caught a nice drift from 3.50 out to 4.20 on Arriva La Diva 15:00 Ayr. There I was saying I didn't expect a big total and then caught that nice move :D

Love the top pundits they have on ATR today:

Emily Jones:

"I am going to stick my neck out and go for Dreams of Dawn (at odds of 1-5)"

It gets beaten

Did a good job trading that and then used some of the profit to lay it, so that was a great result for me. I should quit while the going is good!

I had to laugh when she commented on the result by saying "If the race had panned out differently we may have seen a different result!" Now why didn't I think of that

I also love the way she says "I can't completely rule this one out either" when assessing a race. By the time she has finished, every horse is covered. When we get a shock result she puts her expert hat back on and says "We gave you a mention for that one" I am then screaming at the TV "YES AND YOU ALSO MENTIONED EVERY OTHER ********* HORSE IN THE RACE!"

Soap box now put away until tomorrow!

She's a very nice person and whilst I don't know her, she always speaks when you meet her at the course. Also rides well and has had a fair few winners. I think ATR has a preset script and it's obligatory for all pundits to mention every runner. I'd rather they stuck to one horse or said "too tricky" rather than try and cover every eventuality.

Have you ever had the pleasure of meeting Big Mac, out of interest? :)
