I don't know if it's just me but betfair appeared to be really struggling there, very slow and quite sticky, hard to see what was getting matched

It always seem like the big fields are a bit slow on Betfair to me.

Weird behaviour in the 16:35 just before the off.

I found York fine today (on betfair) but Nottingham was difficult and I avoided most of that card.

York is remarkable poor today for me.

Felt pretty thin for me too mostly. I might be wrong but it feels like there's less unmatched money in the markets to stabalise things when things get volatile in the bigger races recently, as well as less fill.

I'm just trying to lower my expectations all round at the moment and work as hard as possible. There doesn't seem to be the room for error anymore like there was.

How is it over on Daq?

It's OK but nothing special. I switched back to Betfair for a couple of races to see if it was me or the markets. It was the markets. The thing I have to keep remembering is that I effectively get 2.5 times what I see on Betdaq, so that often works out to a pretty good amount on a like for like basis.

A higher than normal number of favourites are shortening in price this week at York.

Racing needs a real kick up the arse. 2mins to the off at the EBOR and not a single horse loaded at Chester!

Eventually went off 38seconds before the off time of the EBOR. Racing is a enemy to itself!

Last year the EBOR was during the week but now its switched to a Saturday it's ruined the race from a trading perspective. Just too many races on today!
