I don't know whether I am coming or going!

Suprised to see how many races were on the card, nowhere near the same last year.

Might just leave it today, and watch Scotland game! The short races are not too bad, but even so, I struggle on them compared to 'normal' racing. Actually feels like a bank holiday type of trading.

Afternoon is flying by. I remember when we always had 5 cards on a saturday, can't see why they don't do it more as people bet more on them so it'll mean more for the levy

I quite like days like this when the races line up properly.

What happened in the 15:50 Kempton?!?

It was a 6 horse race, yet 4 horses reached 1.01 in the place market!

The strangest stat to come out of today so far is the number of favourites or second favourites winning. You would have made a fortune today just sticking a £10 on both in each race.

Not that odd, was a 3 to be placed market. So only one horse was backed down incorrectly. Can't remember the race but guessing one of them was looking like placing but ended up just missing out.

I'd forgotten that.

I know that the second placed horse was gubbed, as I'd backed it! Still, I went each way, so glass half full and all that! :)
