I have set up a trigger for example to back a horse if it is 4.0 at £30 stake. In the Global command I have put in TAKE_SP_ALL and the Global Status states OK but it is not working so if only £10 is matched when the race goes in play the remaining £20 it not matched at SP. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Sorry Rollem. Just to say I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Further searching has come up with the answer that the Global Command must be placed after the bet I just wanted it to be a standard default if prices are not matched. Not sure how I can build this in as I want to keep my options open right up until the actual off time.

Hi Wyndon

Ye I want the same as you for example if I bet £100 on horse A at 3.5 but only £75 is matched at 5 seconds before the off I want to place £25 at SP but I still cannot work out how to do it. Would be grateful if anyone can give me a solution.

If you want to take SP on all unmatched bets say, 10 seconds before off then you could do this. Next to countdown time you could specify the time you want 00:00:10 and in the global command (L6) you can say

=if(F4=G4,"TAKE_SP_ALL","")

F4 being Countdown time and G4 being the time you specify. I'm sure this is covered by some other treads on taking SP.

I cannot get this work at all using Guardian & Excel. My worksheet submitted a bet which was unmatched five minutes before the off. One minute before the off it put TAKE_SP_ALL in cell L6. Cell O6 had 'OK' in it. The bet shows up in my Betfair account as unmatched, but the TAKE_SP_ALL has been ignored. Of course this happened twice today and by sod's law they both won. I manually typed TAKE_SP_ALL into an L6 yesterday and this was ignored as well. Anyone know why?

You need to be logged in via mode 0 or 13, which I think you are. Which market are you trying to take SP on?

Just tested it over here and everything seems normal. Must be something else going on at your end? Weird.

I assume the market doesn't need to be in-play does it? The 'TAKE_SP_ALL' text disappears when the countdown becomes 'negative', but before the market goes in-play.

Try and isolate elements of what you are doing. Break out the TakeSP part and see if you can get it to trigger correctly on it's own. Maybe it's a timing issue?

Hi. Originally I was placing the bet 60 secs before the race time, and takesp 10 seconds before the race time. This was too tight so I changed it to 5 mins before race time to place the bet, and one minute for the takesp part. I watched what happened and it worked correctly.
I have just placed a bet at 1000/1 which was accepted but unmatched. Then I typed TAKE_SP_ALL into cell L6 but again this didn't work.
I'm using Excel 2002, could there be a compatibility problem?
