Offsetting before matching the bet??

Hi! Today in my spreadsheet I put a bet like this:

"BACK OFFSET:1 BATCH:4"

As the odds were going down quickly, I didn't manage to match the first bet, but I found the offeset matched anyway! Then the horse won the race and I had a loss, having layed with an unmatched back.
As I understood, the offset bet should be fired only AFTER the initial bet is matched, or at least a part of it if you use the batch function (with my batch:4, I was expecting to offset 25% of the stake every 25% of the initial bet was matched).
What did I do wrong?
Thank you!!

Hi
I have had this problem in the past ,i think the reason for this happening is not having the fill or kill ticked ,if some one would like to confirm this please ?

convoysur is right. You will need to add fill_kill:true.
It would probably be best to add a kill_delay:??

You have to write:

FILL_KILL:TRUE KILL_DELAY:XX

where XX is the number of seconds of delay that you want.

Thank you to the others for replies!
