Thanks a lot for the aswer
Wich BetAngel should I start to get familiar with, you think?
I also wonder when trading through Betangel, where do you look at the races? Because I guess you do it as live as possible. The betfair do have a 20 seconds delay...so what service do You use?
Thanks again for the nice info.

Yes of course they are (we all probably felt the way you do now when we first started).
You have to figure it out for yourself and find a trading style that suits your personality.
But ultimately you have to have an edge to make money (there is no holy grail and all trading is very competitive because the potential rewards are huge).
Once you've found your edge(s) then all you need is to trade with discipline, focus and confidence. It's not easy but, as with anything else, if you put in the hard work and are willing to learn then you'll get good at it.

You also have to accept you will lose money at first so use money you would of spent on a activitysuperfrank wrote:Yes of course they are (we all probably felt the way you do now when we first started).

Yes the market will take its tuition fees - there's no way round that.
Simulation modes don't work because you often make different decisions when playing for real and you have to get comfortable with risk.

at its essence ba will allow you to place trades/bets very quickly. it is not a cash machine or £10 note printer.
If you have no strategy with an edge to exploit, it will not provide you with one; which is not to say that by watching the markets with ba you will not be able to find one.
It requires a lot of work on your part, but it will provide you with “tools” that you will not be able to trade effectively without.

People on here dont really disclose their earnings, because it can be seen as showing off..(although personally it was seeing Adam H's P&L many years ago that inspired me)
I read a posting the other day on an other forum where the owner of the software offered to donate money to charity if people were to disclose their daily/weekly/monthy and 3 month P&L..(and screen record them logging into their accounts)
Some people rose to the challenge and some of the P&L were truly astounding. They ranged from people who were making small amount right up to someone making 200K euros over 3 months on the football. The same can be (and is) achieved on BA.
BA is just a tool. In the wrong hands it can be lethal, but in the right hands it's worth its weight in gold.
regards
Peter

Thanks for the reply.
It seems that people are making money. Some have systems they follow while others perhaps dont. I wonder if someone would like to share some profitable
tactics on horseracing. I am no beginner, but welcome all thoughts and ideas. Otherwise, where can I get hold of others experiences?
Thanks again

BA is an incredible tool.
I renewed my licence last week for £150.
Yesterday, thanks to using BA's bookmaking facility and the amazing options available through Excel, I made £471
Unfortunately, it doesn't make bad traders good ones. You still need to work at your game, and I get the impression that some people think that the £150 should guarantee them easy money, it doesn't

I dont think their is anywhere that others have divulged a profitable strategy... if they did it wouldnt be as effective, seriously though. Good luck!
