Macrto not automatically running

Hello,
I read alot in the forums and archvies but still not finding a sufficent answer.

I have some vba code that takes the value of certain values every 5minutes.

When I open it with excel normally everything works perfectly, however when I use Guardian and "Open Workbook" the macros are not running automatically, producing mistakes, essentialy making the script not work

Is there some global excel setting I am not aware of?
