I just replied to a post on Neural Networks and mentioned the top 500 traders in the Uk..I suggested that a large proportion of those top traders may be in that category as they were trading on inside knowledge and another category perhaps trading live at the event.
just out of curiosity I wondered what others thought? I would have thought that traders would be very much in the minority?
If we just take horse racing.. who would you consider to be the big earners??
regards
Peter

I don't think you can rightfully put inside knowledge types in this, it makes the battle unfair.
The biggest earners imo would be large value based punters first, (probably a distant) 2nd might be on course / in running people and bots, 3/4th pre race traders.
That is, presuming we are talking solely horse racing. Though everything else probably follows a similar path..
Large punters - Bots - Tracksiders - Traders, would be my guess.
