It's a busy day for me today and I will not be trading the markets. I did have a look at the cards today and I noted a horse I have been keeping an eye on is running again today.

BALLYQUIN QUEEN looks to be fairly treated on previous form. You need to forgive her run at Ffos Las where she trailed in 8th. I understand she forget her snorkel that day and that hindered her. :lol:

Seriously though the conditions were desperate and it clearly didn't suit her. Her penultimate run was over Course and Distance and she was a decent 3rd behind Kentford Grey Lady and that horse is now rated 133! That would put her in with a great shout if she can reproduce something similar. I am not sure the favourite TICKATACK can defy a penalty and looks poor value.

Just one thing that concerns me is the head carriage shown by BALLYQUIN QUEEN in her run behind Kentford Grey Lady. She carried her head rather awkwardly that day so I hope that has been straightened out.

I will be laying the favourite and I will also have a Back to Lay on BALLYQUIN QUEEN. The other thing in favour of the Back to Lay strategy is she's a potential front runner. Small stakes as the price is around 8.4-8.6

This was a weird outcome as Ballyquin Queen went out like a light. I can only assume something was wrong with her as that did not appear to be her running. Thankfully Tickatack didn't win or that would've put the tin lid on it for me. I made a small profit in the end but I just hope Ballyquin Queen is okay.

Keep your eye out for her as I am sure she'll win soon if all is well
