After readings Peter's blog post about wearing a heart rate monitor when he traded last week:

http://www.betangel.com/blog_wp/2012/03/16/dont-panic/

I thought I would whack mine on just now, think after wearing it for 2 races I will spend some time wearing it for full days of trading to look at the results.

I had one in my cupboard that I got with my running watch but don't think I have worn it before.

Just glancing at the watch I saw my resting heart rate was around 50 bpm and I saw at one stage on the 17.20 my heart rate was a little over 100, nearly doubled!!!

Wondered if anyone else had tried wearing one? Will be interesting to read the results from Peter when he tries it again.

Think I will give it a crack but resting heart rate at 50BPM is impressive!

Mine is in low sixties but I am getting old - last week I got hammered on a trade by using the Betfair SP when I was going for it! My language was colouful at that stage and I would have had a large spike!

My wife is studying for her doctorate (back specialist) so me being her guinea pig could be of use to her

I'd rather not know. What I do know though, is the level of my bad language has increased 10fold since I started trading

I could never make a 5min video like Peter does, without slipping in at least 2 F's and 1 C
