I know there are a few of you who live near to the Southampton area. I am in need of some help with local knowledge.
I am involved in a Motorcycling event which involves visiting every County on mainland Britain during the summer months, There are 90 land marks which we are supplied with to find. There are churches, castles, monuments, memorials, bridges etc. Some are very easy to find i.e Eilean Donan Castle. Others are much more difficult.
A couple in particular are very difficult this year.
Hampshire: A sculpture of Lapwings in flight in Chandler's Ford.
Northumberland: A memorial to jack Anderson near to Elsdon.
Any Geordies who know this one?
I need to find the exact whereabouts of these land marks.
Any help here would be gratefully received. My usual detective work has let me down. Can anyone help me?
