Good luck if you are giving it a go today, looks chaotic!

It is very much chaotic!

I made a good trade on the first race but left an order in the market using KEEP - very professional NOT!

I've made profits on all subsequent races up until the 14:30 Plumpton and now I am going to enjoy an afternoon with my family and some friends who have just arrived.

I also laid Periphery the Godolphin horse win and place in the 14:25 Yarmouth so that made me a couple of days profit in one go. Quite why they want to back a horse that needs a surface like the motorway when today it is running on softening ground is beyond me but I guess I'll take their money.

had a bit of a mare!!! got spanked by the mad bomber and then got caught in play. Going to be another uphill struggle for me to make anything today by the looks of it.

The bomber was around on the first at Chepstow. I saw bets of £14K and £18K hit the favourite late on and one large one of about £20K after the false start.

They also smashed Periphery at Yarmouth but that was a horse I was very happy to oppose as it was always going to struggle on the ground. I must admit to smiling like mad when they smashed it into ~2.0 because my risk lessened whilst my potential profit went up! :D

Sorry you got caught out though I always hate it when that happens!

With a couple of the races, I checked to make sure that the race was starting in 60 seconds rather than 60 minutes, as the prices were incredibly jumpy!

I'm sure the bits of string they use to hold the server together will be more than up to the job...

I have never really got on with this day in prior years. So I'm dipping in and out while doing other stuff.

On a day like today, if you just chucked money into the market at random and let your profits run whilst cutting your losses, I reckon you wouldn't come out badly (even if you did get some large drawdowns!).

Far too many races on today for favourable trading conditions.

found it pretty tricky tbh, escaped with a small loss on the day so could of been worse

today (27.08.2012) with one meeting abandoned there are still 27races clashing from a total of 64. Excluding evening Dundalk we have 14 races every hour. The prize budget is 3 times lower than past Saturday.
