Automation Activation problem.

HI,

I am new to Bet Angel today and have tried to activate an automation programme for trading on greyhounds.

I have virtually mirrored the Bet Angel TV video and I am unable to get the first bet/trade placed. Is there some sort of activation key or anything else I havn't done?

All the markets are listed in Guardian and the automation rules selected in each individual market. I am trying place a back bet with a one tick off set.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi popnie , Sundays are quite fella, your problem without seeing your set of rules would be difficult to solve , i automate every greyhound race in the uk so it works, mail me a list of your rules , if you dont know how go to edit rules , export the file to your desktop and and thenn put the link in a msg , it'll say the name of your file then .baf , ps i wont be back on line till about 1pm as mondays are quiteish too , "quiteish" is that a word.

Check what the log says and post it up, that should give a few clues. It doesn't sound like it is switching or that you have applied it to any markets?

Hi, thanks for all your replies. The only set of rules I am unable to to activate is any trading bet pre-race. I can get a basic lay to work fine. It is when I try to place a back/lay bet and try to offset it by 1 tick.

I have exported the file to my desktop but it does not open when I try to look at it. What program should it be saved in?

OK. The same rules work in Horse Racing but not in Greyhounds. So do they work in football match betting?

Having a bank of around £3000 I cant invest in software that works sometimes but not others. How can I go to work and trust that when I come home I have lost all my money.

I suggest you put it in practice mode until you are familiar with how automation works, then you can't lose any money.

There must be something fundamental that you are doing wrong, but its impossible to indentify from the information you have posted.

I agree. That's good advise but I think there is a problem within the greyhound markets. But what do I know.

Your time is valuable obviously(30 mins on a sunday afternoon) and you got pissed off when you didnt get a response from complete strangers,Jesus you dont expect much! The forum is like the software...SPOT ON and thats coming from a newbie.

Possible the software and indeed us mere mortals on the forum isnt your cup of tea,3k in your bank guess your moving in different circles!!
