I also remember reading about the punter, who placed a bet of £25k on Notts County being a PL club within 5 years when Sven became manager

6 months later they were in administration

I'm sure Peter Webb has a few good ones up his sleeve, he likes long-term strategies

ha ha!
I was wondering if I could place a bet now on my 8 year old son to graduate from uni before he is say, 24?
I could then use it to pay off his uni debt! :D

I bet you could get quite long odds on Tony Blair becoming prime minister again, and I wouldn't rule it out, particularly as he's just become an advisor to the Labour Party. If Labour lose the next election, then having as leader the man who won them the biggest election majority in history (I think) would be very tempting...
