I'm new to B'Angel and a novice trader. Recently I've been backing horses pre race that I expect to travel well or hit the front and trading out quickly to gain a point or two. My question is about speed ratings and I would be grateful if anyone could recommend a useful/reliable resource (free or subscription) that they use and would be happy recommending. I have been using Pattern Form recently, its a great free site with useful info for in play trading but I would like to combine it with an accurate ratings system specifically for speed/travelling.
Any help or advice will be gratefully received.

Well, you can use racingpost.com or even the racinpost app on smartphones show it.
But remember that highest speed doesnt mean that they will front run.

If you are serious about speed ratings have a read of one of Andrew Beyer's books - he is an American speed expert famous for the Beyer Speed Ratings.
