I have noticed aswell as others that assistance and help on this forum is kinda non existent. What has happened ?? is this turning into a clque group, don’t get me wrong I am not for the newbies who just want the experienced traders to hand them strategies in their hands, or those who don’t want to explore the software fully like we all had to before we became profitable, it took me two years before I started to make my support to my monthly income, but I asked a quick querry the other day with no feedback at all. Also we should be talking more about trading in general than off topic things or giving reasonable assistance to those who kindly ask

I post as often as I can, but my time is now extremely streched so it's difficult to post more often than I can. When I do I tend to reply to unanswered topics. If anybody has any neat ideas on how to get everybody more chatty, happy to listen to them.

I think we could do with some getting started stuff in here to answer most newbie questions.

I think the reason more people don't contribute is that few people are willing to divulge their discoveries in order to protect their edge.

However, perhaps a few more sticky threads might be useful for beginners. :) I think the thread that James 1st started ages ago, in which he gave advice for new starters, would be a good sticky thread. Also, Quinny did a cracking post a while back about the importance of staying in the now when trading.

I think these are sticky already?

It turns out James's thread is already a sticky  , but Quinny's post isn't (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4109&hilit=definitely+quinny#p28865).

I suspect some posts don't get answered because the appropriate response would be a curt RTFM :D

Happy to take on board ways to improve education, though there will always be limits to what we can do or provide. Maybe we should appoint specialists in the forum?
