Did you see the prospectus?
A summary, we want to list to get rid of some debt, Oh but we way £76m and all the voting rights. Shareholders get a very minority holding with little in the way of voting rights. It looked a very bad deal to me. I dont' trust the Glazers.

yeah i saw that. i suspect that they only managed to succeed with the IPO because of the upcoming TV deal which gives clubs a 70% increase (which no doubt will go in wages to foreign superstars while Roy Hodgson has 20 top-flight players to choose from).
i wish Man U and the other greedy sods had left and formed the European Super League. maybe we could have had a proper ENGLISH top-flight then.
