Hi All,
ATR is not working for me today, I'm going to use Betfair pictures in the meantime.
Just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue, or know what might be wrong?
Thanks,
JP

Having the same problem via BF website... It's flaky at the best of times but just getting the 'black' screen no sound today.
Interested, do you find ATR either via web or Sky better ?

Just as I wrote that of course it came back to life.
Over all though I find it a dreadfully unreliable flaky service. You can phone up and speak to the hand as I've attempted to do on numerous occassions over the years to try and be constructive and help them to produce a better service but I'd say it is less reliable now than 3yrs ago.
Commence rant:
I get the error "you need to have placed a bet to see the video" nearly every race despite having large sums at stake...
It's an appalling service generally, and a missed business opportunity not to provide super fast latent reliable video... imagine the turnover on the xchanges. Rant over.

I use ATR and RUK via web, does the job, I have a 100mb fibre broadband in Ireland.Mr Undercover wrote: Interested, do you find ATR either via web or Sky better ?
However some meetings are 5 seconds behind some aren't, would be interested to know why that is, I know the more epensive services (SIS) more timely, but why aren't all ATR and RUK races slighly delayed.
Does each the course decide on transmission times?
(ATR came back online the other day about 10 minutes after I posted this thread!)

I think the delay really does come down to which idiot is pressing which button either at the race course or in the studio where they do the editing to add overlays etc. The delay can be 1-9sec per course on any particular day, they give no account of the delay other than it's bounced round a few satellites.
I spoken to Perform group who own and are responsible for most of the tech behind the brands, they see reason to be any more accountable, they make a shed load from the trading floors that pay the premium for the SIS feeds so the status quo is set.
Personally i think there is a massive missed opportunity by the exchanges to change a small daily rate and offer sis feeds to traders. It's daft to call the brand BET'FAIR' when clearly in-play is not a level playing field.
