Hi Everyone

As part of ongoing developement of excel automated trading

I Just wondered if one of you might have a guide to average expected traded volume on different types of races for each day of week in run up to start time.

for example on a Monday with no televised racing a 5f Mdn Stk might average
-10min £40000
-5min £78000
-2min £112000

I am gethering the data but it will take some time as televised meetings on same day can set new data expectations

Just asking in case a member has a reliable guide or perhap 3 or 4 members would be prepared to work together to build such a reference

Regards

I guess it depends what you are looking forward. I can forecast volumes fairly accurately, but it doesn't contain much information.

About 40% of the final volume has arrived in the market by about 4 mins out. But this can be influenced by the underlying volatility of the market, the price of the favourite and the timings between races. The average race turnsover £500k on average. That's remained pretty static for some time.
