Ayr This meeting goes ahead after passing an inspection this morning. I would describe the going as "fins and snorkel required!"

With the very heavy ground and an uphill finish you will need a horse that can handle the ground and see out the trip. If there is any doubt about stamina then today's conditions will find it! I think we may get some close finishes today...fingers crossed!!

Lingfield Not a great track for in play; it's another favourite of the track-side players and they can snap up the prices. Yes, it can work because runners can finish late and fast to grab the victory but I am never confident it will provide long term profits

Wolverhampton This is probably the course where live trading began and it's not always good for in play unless you're there. Unlike Lingfield where winners come late and fast this course seems to suit horses which travel close to the pace and then kick on from the home turn. There seems to be a bias off the bend and runners move wide towards the centre of the track. You still get horses coming late but again, I am not sure it offers long term profitability.

I covered Yarmouth and Listowel in earlier posts.

Good luck. If you have any questions then please feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer them.

hi JG
Thanks for the info.
I was talking to a fellow trader some time ago..and apparently there is a hotel on course at Wolv.
he was telling me that if you book a room you can get "fast Pictures" in your room?
Just wonder if you or anyone knows if this is true??
Regards
Peter
