Morning,
Apologies if there is a section already for book suggestions (I thought there was but I couldn't find it)..
I have a couple of long haul flights in the next month and was looking for a few good books to take with me...was thinking of the following :
- Thinking Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman
- The intelligent investor - Benjamin Graham
- The speed Traders - Edgar Perez
Other than the above I was wondering if anyone had read anything that fits into the context of trading and worthy of a recommendation?
Thanks
Peter

I don't read a lot but I did enjoy reading The Wolf of Wall Street. About a bloke that was basically scamming on wall street and lived life to the Max and almost killing himself on drugs birds and rock n roll.
Not really trading but as it was based around finance thought I'd give it a thumbs up.

Sounds like the ideal lifestyle for a young man!
Thanks I'll check it out..

PS My daughter graduated a couple of years ago and was thinking about a career in that arena..until she read a book called "Golden Handcuffs" which shows that it is possible to make lots of money, but at the expense of 100 hour weeks and the feeling that you are owned by the company (Anyone in the corporate world now might relate to that too!)
She decided it wasn't for her, but has still gone into wealth management for a smaller company
PPS : Cheers SuperFrank..i'll take a look

Hi All,
The biography of Warren Buffet "The snowball" By Alice Schroeder is excellent. But it is a big book so make sure you have a big baggage allowance...Groovy

If you can wait long enough then I would recommend getting hold of Antifragility by Nassim Taleb when it releases on 27 November.
