Looking forward to this one, should be an interesting market with the ground so soft.

No overnight rain at Ascot, so he should be fine.

Frankel beat Nathanial on soft going last year and Cecil isn't concerned about the going. He just has to beat Cirrus who needs it like a bog to win.

I'm sceptical as to whether he will drift this time. With this probably being his final run I'd have thought punters will be throwing their money behind him like never before - I remember the torrents of cash that came for Kauto Star in what looked like being his last Gold Cup run in March, despite the signs being bad for the horse after its nasty fall the week before. Depends how brave the layers are feeling, I suppose.

I read this morning that Frankel is going to be hired out as a stud at £100,000 a time after he retires today.

Good work if you can get it...

Would have been nice to see him smash it.

Have to say well done to the BHA for putting this champions day on. Cash flying everywhere you look. My best ever day on here (so far.)

One for next year's diary for sure :D

Wait until Black Caviar retires. Pegasus will no longer be a mythical creature!

And who pays who? :)
