Hi guys, first post and im sure its a very newbie question so i apologise if the answer has been posted a million times before!

Is there a way to tell bet angel that you have placed a bet with a different bookmaker on a particular event so that it displays this in your profit/loss??

For example today i placed 50 @ 10/1, and layed in betfair 80@ 11/2, however i was obviously showing a loss on bet angel as the 50 at 10's was placed with a different bookmaker, however it was actually a green book.

I understand that bet angel uses solely betfair and in the above scenario my betfair account would show a loss and hence bet angel shows me a loss, i was just wondering if there is any way to offset it so to speak in order to make calculations easier visually

Bet Angel is not able to link to a third party bookmaker to reconcile bets made elsewhere with bets made on the exchange.

This would be so handy for me, it wouldn't need to communicate with another bookmaker. I just went to tell it that I have bets placed elsewhere at certain odds....

I guess if you are or know someone that is good with excel you would be able to do it through an excel sheet so for example if you backed else where at 10s for 100 quid then the excel would put the greening bet on the layside. Obviously there would be betfair commissions to take into account. If you do find a solution Id also be interested.

This should help. Merry Xmas.
