Hello Guys,

Could you please give a hand to resolve this problem:-

Image

I want to GREEN between 10 minutes prior to start and 1 minute after start. But it seems can't set up this requir at Rule trigger times of Guardian.Rule trigger times of Guardian only triggered at a specific time 10 minutes prior to start other than from 10 minutes prior to start to 1 minute after start.

I want to trigger the GREEN with condition within 11 munites.Anyone has a good idea ?

Thanks for any helps.

Can you explain this any better? What do you mean by 'specific time'? This uses your computer clock and time settings. So make sure these are accurate, correct time zone and with the daylight savings settings correct.

What is this doing differently to what you expect?

Hi 6thSense,

According to Rule trigger times of Guardian,if you choose 00:10:00 before event start time as the screenshot above,GREEN will be triggered at 10 minute before starting(e.g. triggered at 9:00am if the event starts at 9:10am). At the moment, this is not what i want. I want the GREEN will be triggered at anytime from 9:00am to 9:11am ( event starts at 9:10am).In other words,i want the GREEN is triggered within 11 minutes with the condition.

Cheers.

I'm still struggling with this a little.

Are you wanting the following:

'Monitor the market from 10 mins before advertised start time until 1 minute after the event has started and is in play'

OR

'Monitor the market from 10 mins before advertised start time until 1 minute after advertised event start time'

What sport are you trying to do this in? Are you relying on the event starting exactly on time?

I'm playing in the horse racing and 'Monitor the market from 10 mins before advertised start time until 1 minute after advertised event start time'

Your settings are correct then.

What is it not doing?

At the moment, triggered at 9:00am (the event starts at 9:10am),it's not from 9:00am to 9:11am.You might have a try.

I'm sorry. I'm really confused.

You appear to be saying you want to monitor the market ten mins before the start. But not ten mins before the start?

This part is making no sense to me.

Can you clarify what condition you have set?

The event event starts at 9:10am. monitoring the market from 9:00am to 9:11am,it's 11 mins.

WOM < 10%.

This rule will trigger immediately you enter the time period selected. Green should probably be called hedge, as it will immediately hedge your position and you have asked it to fire anywhere between 10 to -1 minutes.

If you want to green out then you need to apply a condition to say 'if profit>0'

The rule as you have shared it so far will do the following:

At 10 mins before the start of the event it will green all selections.

You have set this to fire once. Which it will do as soon as it becomes active. Unless you have a condition set.

If you only want it to fire when there is something to green, you will need to use a 'Green all profit condition'. It will then monitor for the condition to be met from ten mins before the start time to one minute after.

You can then replicate and add more rules & conditions as necessary.

Thank you Guys.
GREEN ALL SELECTIONS of Guardian will green all positions.I don't want to do that.So i want to GREEN the single horse with condition. Here is the code in excel's cell as bellow, but it dosen't work.Could you please correct it ?

=IF(AD12=0,"LAY",IF(AND(AD12<>0,D14>0),"GREEN"),"")

Maybe can't code it in the cell.If so,can it coded in VBA and how?

Thank you.

You had constructed the statement incorrectly.

Corrected below.

=IF(AD12=0,"LAY",IF(AND(AD12<>0,D14>0),"GREEN",""))

i think i understand what you want firstly change your amount of time you need this to happen to 100 every 5 secounds thus will continue to triger if you are actually green more then once secoundly in your conditions tab set the price you need it to green at.
so now you have a situation where if you are green for the amount of money you specified it will trigger.
now set up a new rule doing what you want it to do at one minute i take this is for getting out of the market before inplay but remember to green with no conditions so it will clear all bets and take even a loss i hope this helps.
