How do I create an automation rule that place a back-orders in-play, when price are below 1.2 or something?

I just want to place one order for each horse below 1.2.

You could create an advanced Guardian automation rules file.

Set to place a back bet during in-play using relative to inplay timings.

Set to apply to selection 'in position 1 (according to favouritism)'. This is presuming that anything at 1.2 is the current price favourite.

Set the parameters as you wish but as this is inplay then I would set the 'Place at' price to a fixed price of 1.01. Set your own stake.

Set a 'Fixed odds' condition so that the rule will only fire below your selected price. In this case you would have to set to 'Less than 1.21'

Note that in play markets move very quickly and not all bets may get matched. And not all runners that hit 1.2 in running will win. You may want to try some different settings.

And you will definitely want to use practice mode until you are familiar with automation.

I have tried to do automation 1p times, it´s only worked once. Do I something wrong? It worked in BA automation, but not in Guardian.

Two things:

You have got the trigger time set between '00:00:00' and '00:00:00' relative to inplay. This is not correct. Set the second figure to 4 or 5 mins.

Your 'place at' figure is 1.35. This is OK except you will probably find at that stage of the race the prices are moving too quickly. Set this to 1.01 to be sure to be matched. Betfair will match at the better price if available.

That's because you have asked it to fire 100 times!

Use practice mode while experimenting. It's a powerful feature, if you use it correctly.

As I tried to stress earlier, you will need to use practice mode until you are familiar with how automation works.

Do not risk funds until you are certain the automation file works as expected.

My screen shot had the rule set to fire once. Asking the rule to fire up to 100 times will mean it will try to do exactly that.

I'm really grateful for all the help I received. It's completely my fault when things go wrong.

I changed the trigger. But I wonder how to limit to book a horse more than once?

I do not understand what you are trying to say here?

Do you mean limit the bet to once? This is on my top image above. Where it says 'Allow rule to trigger up to 1 times'

I mean if two horses go under 1.5, so I want to play on both horses, but I would not bet on the same horse twice.
