Football Hedging

I am looking for some information on hedging to improve my football trading, and was wondering whether anyone could direct me to any reference material anywhere?

I have developed my own excel model for football, and it suggests some counter intuitive ( at least to me) trades. I have looked on investopedia, but the trouble is the info I can find starts is all financial trading and starts to talk about using derivatives very quickly. My model is making me money, but I thought I should try to improve it by rooting it in some theory.

I'm a week into testing my own hedging system, live trial at www.laybackandgetrich.com should begin in a week or two, and run for 200 trades minimum.

I'll post back if/when the trial begins, looking very promising so far
