I was just trading the 19:39 Beulah, and was a bit surprised when it was suspended at 19:35 (and not reopened!).

I knew that US races sometimes suspended a bit before the off - possibly due to the TV delay - but not 4 minutes before the off!

What the heck is going on with that?!?

PS I'm pleased to say that my bet won, so that has reduced my annoyance a bit!

US Racing works on a MTP system (minutes to post)
so you need to keep an eye on that,
the race times are just a very rough guide.

It actually quite a good system when you get used to it.

Thanks Freddy.

If I'm trading a US race, how can I tell when the race is going to start?

Thanks Freddy

BTW, are the US races generally ran at a faster speed than ours over the same distances? They seem to be, although maybe that's just the effect of the camera.
