I'm not sure Rooney would even make it into the starting 11 of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea or City.

I'll be angry if United have no money to buy decent players in the summer after spending all that money on Rooney (not to mention the £28 million they flushed down the toilet when the bought Fellaini last summer).

The message that United have sent out to agents is, 'We might not be City, but if we want your player, we will pay way over the odds for him'...
