I cannot for the life of me understand why Hurricane Fly is 7/4 fav for this race. He has always had a tall reputation but he came here last year with the same reputation and was beaten by Rock on Ruby The latter has done nothing wrong but he's a 6/1 shot??
I think you can only go on what you see and what is achieved so why should we take it on say so that Hurricane Fly is back to his best and take a crazy 7/4? I certainly couldn't back him at that price. Zarkandar has failed to deliver many times and I cannot see why he will reverse form with Rock on Ruby
The slight concern is first time blinkers for Rock on Ruby but I think he will be okay as the pace will be an honest one so it's unlikely he will pull so hard he will run away with his jockey.
I just feel he is worth betting pre-race and trading out in running as he will surely be there when push comes to shove!!
