I can't find an answer to this anywhere so will ask it here. I notice that when using for example a one or two tick offset bet with greening facility in fast moving markets, if I place say a back bet, the lay is placed simultaneously and can get filled before the back bet, causing me to be the wrong side of the intended bet.
Some other software packages allow the offset bet to be only placed after the back has been filled.
I suspect there is an easy way to overcome this (certainly I can do it Guardian automation) and would appreciate any input.
I did have a look under the 'Star' in the global settings editor but nothing was obvious to me.
Conditional bet placement
You need to use the fill/kill setting.
This will hold the initial bet in the market for a defined number of seconds that you choose. It will wait until the bet is placed before placing the offset.
It will also manage partial matches and adjust the offset accordingly.
You can also use this in conjunction with 'batches' and have Bet Angel place the offset bets as portions of the initial bet are matched. Useful if you use larger stakes.

Choose a reasonable delay suitable to the market you are operating in.

I really appreciate your helpful reply. I had mis-understood 'Fill of Kill' - I thought it only applied to the initial bet. This was why it only started to happen when I stopped using fill or kill!
Looks like for scalping if I set it to say 10secs then either the bet disappears after 10 secs or is filled and then an opposite bet is placed and help until it is filled -is that correct?

Once the initial bet is filled then the offset bet will be placed. The fill/kill is only active whilst the inital bet remains unmatched but it will kill the entire trade.
I recommend you use practice mode to see this in action and become familiar with this feature before you risk any more funds.
Try using different fill/kill settings from zero to a couple of minutes. Use larger stakes and introduce batching.
Make sure you fully understand this aspect of the software before proceeding to risk real money.
