Happy Birthday Euler
If anybody wants to know more about the real Euler read here: -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonhard_Euler
I could never compare to his brilliance, but just hope by adopting his name he can get some more recognition for what he did.
This equation is simple but beautiful in it's depth: -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euler%27s_identity
Even if you hate maths but are interested in sports, spend some time trying to fully understand it.

Guys if you like this sort of thing you may enjoy watching Horizon: Tomorrows world on BBC iplayer.
The search for knowledge by some of these scientist is truly inspiring and some of the things they are working on are mind blowing. The benefits we will all reap as we get older.
Regards
Peter
By the way; When I was watching this, i was thinking that there are probably an equal amount of very intelligent people who trade the markets each and every day. Where there is money to be made there will be focus by individuals and organisations. To be able to compete and win against these people is an achievement itself imho. Maybe that is why only 1% are successful long term, an unequal distribution of the profits. Although we will never know, I often wonder about who are the 1% of the 1% and what do they do to maximise the profits..??
The money helps of course, but it not all about money.

I miss mathematics. Had a strange feeling yesterday when helping my younger brother on a math's problem. Was a bit disapointed that some of the skills are so rusty...
