What's the difference between swing trading and trend trading?

Here is one answer.

Trend trading is capitalising on long runs, as in steamers and drifters by following the direction of the trend.

Swing trading is waiting for the trend to finish and trading the odds as they reverse and start moving in the opposite direction.

(Some argue that swing trading is simply trend trading by delaying the entry point until there is a reverse trend)
