Can someone explain to me why sometimes on a offset/greening/trailing stop, that when the auto close cuts out, the offset bet sometimes does or does not appear on the matched bets page. :?

If it does not appear on the matched bets page then there are a few reasons I can think of.

1 - The bet is not matched.
2 - If the market is being stored in Guardian with many other markets then the market data has not refreshed. Check your Guardian refresh settings.
3 - Your connection to the exchange has been lost.

Thanks for your reply.

I've changed the guardian to refresh @ 200ms, but still does not appear.
Up until a few months ago it was appearing every time, then it became intermittant and now not at all.

I use the offset bet with greening and trailing stop function, using the auto close to cut out on the lay bet side and to show in the lay section on matched bets page. The auto close does cut out but then disappears.

If it is a connection problem, what would be the recommended settings ? is it in the communication settings section ?

Check the log and see what the log says.

I've checked logs and they're saying the same, whether it's matched or not.
Log displaying -Stop triggered ,in all cases.

But what I have noticed is that the lay bet does display on the matched bets page if it's below 20.0 or round about that. If it's above, auto close (stop trigger) cuts out,lay bet does not appear.
So any odds below 20.0 seems to work ok.
I've been momitoring it for a while now in live play on £2 bets. In practice it works on any priced odds but i do know this is not a true reprsentation.
Could it have anything to do with the staking or the trailing stop settings i.e stop and place ticks settings ? I have been trying some variations with the stop/place ticks but no difference.
I get the same results whether it's in guardian or not.

My counter position is still not getting matched on lay orders above say, 20.0
This is using the offset/green/trailing stop.
I've tried things suggested to me previously but no change.
I then read this in the user guide, as follows

Staking & Liability

We can set a default stake and maximum liability in Bet Angel. It is a good idea when starting out to set these low. Please be aware that if you are trying to trade and positions are not acting as expected, for example offsetting positions are not firing. Then you may have set your maximum liability setting too low and Bet Angel will not be able to complete your counter position.

It is important to note that these settings only apply to your initial bet rather than any subsequent bet triggered by your initial trade or by any automatic features in Bet Angel. Therefore if you used offsetting to put two orders into the market these settings will only apply to your initial order

NOTE: Your Betfair account profile also contains a liability setting. If your bets are being rejected and the Bet Angel liability setting is above the level then check your Betfair account settings.

I've checked the above on my Betfair and Bet Angel lay liability settings and they are set at the same figure.
CAN ANYBODY SHOW SOME LIGHT ON THIS PROBLEM PLEASE !
