If I managed to attach files here, which I don't seem to be able to do(I use "upload attachment" but nothing happens), I would show excel screens where a lay bet is placed say on horse n.4 but in fact it shaws the negative money on a different horse....

I've been collecting this evidence since a few days now awaiting to understand why it happened, and finally, today I observed it happening...

A lay bet is shot on horse n.4 but it doesn't fill...
so I saw the horses names reshuffling and not carrying the whole line whith... very odd indeed.. so when the sorting ends the horses names can end up against any of the odds, and then, when the bet fills it places the money on the horse it was intended to put it on, wherever its position now....

I hope I explained well enough..

The version of Bet Angel I'm using now is 1.32.2, I don't remember seeing this before..

Make sure you are trying to attach a supported file type as from memory there are restrictions on the type and size that can be posted.

I think this is normal. When Betfair re-arrange the order this will reflect only in the grid of the excel sheet. The instruction fields and statuses will not rearrange with it.

to Andyfuller, I take screenshots and put them in a MS word file and then try and upload that... a .doc file, more standard than that... it should recognise it..

Just tried and a Word file is not supported.

You will be able to upload images on their own though (but again some file types are not supported). When you try to uplaod something and it fails it says towards the top of the page, just above Post Icon that extension XYZ is not allowed.

Yes, I've seen this happen before. To be honest, it's a bit of a pain. I think BA should help keep things looking consistent. Either not re-arrange (although this could create gaps in the grid) or it should re-draw the status fields. My preference is for the former.

Another dangerous mishap in excel....
I saw this for the first time yesterday, very frightening...

my authomatic excel system shot a lay fot £3.74 at odds 5.00, it got matched at 3.85,
I GOT A LIABILITY OF -278.56 AND A POTENTIAL WIN OF 97.74...

Five hours later it happened much worse: shot a lay of £5.00 at odds 5.00, got matched at 5.00,
I GOT A LIABILITY OF -1727.24 AND POTENTIAL WIN OF 431.81.

Immediately I thought the system shot the bet n times but in the Guardian it showed 1 bet only.
I'm very proud of my system and I was ready to give it a go with real money, but how can I possibly dare doing that? Does anybody have an explanation? has this happened to any of you as well?

as soon as it happens again, I'll take screen shots and post them here... very odd to see.

Something that might be of help to support:

In the first case (£3.74), two workbooks were running concurrently with the same list of races, the amount of 97.74 was shot by the other workbook for that same race, both live.. but really... if I shoot a bet in one sheet and it's processed in another sheet it's really worrying...
In the other case there was no such thing happening, only one workbook running and that race did not go live at all (US races).

There must be a logical explanation. Do you have a copy of the logfile?

By using the data contained within the matched/unmatched cells its easy to stop the BOT firing in too many bets..just include the info in an IF command..
From the same set of cells; its easy to determine the net stake too

sure Peter, there must be, and carrying on this discussion perhaps it dawns.
so for argument's sake I'd say it's not a matter of the BOT firing too many times because in that case I'd see only the last amount matched in the amount box, but what I saw was the total, so it was like this

_________________________matched__/__amount
5.00_____3.74___PLACED_____3.85______97.74

And this is what doesn't make sense...

But I was caught by surprise the first time and didn't investigate very much, I'll document it much better as soon as it happens again, with screen shots, log file etc..

I saw the title of this and immediately thought someone had seen Peters 2 new youtube videos: -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjnz0i7EtME
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLXVgXRwMUQ

I understand why you post youtube videos etc but I feel that the message is all wrong in these latest two. It seems like the message you are putting out is "buy my software and you can't lose". No disrespect to you Peter, we all know you are a great trader with immense knowledge of the markets. I just feel these latest videos will do a lot more harm than good to aspiring traders.

Anyone else agree or Is it just me?

Depends on how much hard work you put in, i'v done and tested over a hundred ideas so far and only 3 of them work.

Also been trying to do inplay in the last month, tryed over 30 ideas so far none of them work minus £300+ for trying but i won't stop because if i keep trying different ideas i will find a least one that will work.
