Been thinking about having a soirée to get everybody together and talking. Trading can be a lonely business so it would be nice to see everybody in one room and hopefully get some new friendships going.

For starters I'm happy to host something local to our new offices probably early to mid December. Nothing formal, just a get together and a few drinks, chance to chat to other traders. Hopefully we can move it around a bit so everybody can get together.

It seems to make sense to do something on a Monday night as that has the least impact on most traders.

Any thoughts / ideas / comments?

Sounds good to me - suggested this to Andy (Richmond) earlier this year.

I am juggling my trading with stints in the Netherlands at the moment, but if I'm not there I would attend.

I am sure there will be enough demand to make this a regular event :P

Sounds good to me too. I agree that a Monday night (or Tuesday) would be ideal. I hope I can make whichever date you decide on.

Hi,

Yeah would be good but unfortunately I live in lincolnshire, which is a good 2 or 3 hour drive. Plus I work in the week and trade only night and weekends.

Any chance of a weekend night as I can only imagine that I will have to drive a couple of hours to get to the nearest Bet Angel Social Bash night.

Cheers

Hi
Think this is a great idea..where are the new offices? is it in the Hook region?? (Between the M3/M4?)
Would be happy to chip in moneywise for room hire/costs etc..
Thanks

I'd be happy with that.

Just a quick 40min drive up the M3 for me, so I'd love to meet other traders

I'll get something arranged and let any local traders know. From there we will look to see what works and if there is scope for moving it around the country.

Yeh I'd be up for it to. Just been on the course and really enjoyed it so would love the chance to speak to some fellow traders again. I'm in Manchester and would be willing to travel but if it could be taken round the country then even better.

Sounds like fun! Would the first one be in Hook or that area? Couldn't see anywhere else mentioned but would like to get an idea of distance to travel and places to stay

I've also just attended Monday's course and didn't get the chance to thank you Peter for a most enjoyable and enlightening day. Would be interested in a social event but like several others on Monday, hail from the North West.
All the best and thanks again, Dave from Preston.
