API response times

Over the last few days the response times seem to be creeping up currently i'm getting 40 - 60
Are these poor compared to your normal times?

I'm getting between 60 - 90 from my location.

The VPS is giving me between 10 - 20ms.

So I would say your numbers look ok to me.

think i need to check the connection smoothing i have not check mine for ages.
it just seems that it's not running as good as it as.

if you have antivirus software installed than it may slow down your connection by a few ms also by checking every network packet.

Gutumi do you run Bet angel without anti virus software running then?

I have kaspersky 2013. In previous versions I used to set it up not to bother about bet angel - like not scanning network traffic etc. It worked fine. With this version I still get about 40ms cut from response times of bet angel. Even though I still set it up in the same manner. Now I simply shut it down when I use BA. As a result I get better response times.
