Hi
It is not so easy to make money trading sports and many people fail. I think those that persist and work hard will start to make it pay. However if you are looking for a quick way of making money this is not for you. It has taken me about 2 years to get profitable and probably cost me around £2000 in what I call learning money. If you have patience and work hard and are determined I would say you can do it but it will take a long while to learn and need an investment.

The answer to your question is yes. It is possible.
I recommend you read the threads here:

Then I recommend you spend a lot of time using Bet Angel in practice mode.

Betfair have no problem with people using Practice Mode in moderation.
However, they have a problem with competitor websites using their information and try to stop this which can sometimes lead to temporary account suspension.

Hi
Firstly sorry about being made redundant but use it as an opportunity as you are clearly looking to do. I can't believe the negative comments on here and the general "it's too hard" "find a job" I will say to you this - Bet Angel is a tool and to make money form it, you need to know what you are doing. Most people who fail do so because they dont have trading strategies, enough of a bank and speculate.
I started from nothing 9 months ago, bought £4,000 of professional training from a trader who has now retired and it works for me and others who are in that forum. Strategies that cover racing, tennis and football and £5k per month is not that hard with a £5k bank to trade from. Obviously if you have a lower bank then that earnings will be proportionate. But as you won't be betting but trading, you need to learn trading strategies not looking at form of horses etc and guessing. I can't mention my training due to confidential reasons and it's insider knowledge, but needless to say it works fine for me.
