Total amounts matched on horse races
I'm interested in finding out whether the level of betting activity could be a trigger in getting me involved in a race. Does anyone know if there is a record anywhere of total amounts traded on an individual race (either pre-race or in total). I know that Betfair history gives amounts traded on each horse at each price - but it requires a considerable amount of data manipulation to sum this to get an overall total for each race.
