Betfair Suspended Soccer Matches on a Saturday

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

Yesterday I grouped several matches that I trade backing the 0 - 0 at odds of over 14s.

At half time I still had three matches remaining goaless 0 - 0.
But the problem I encountered is that BF kept suspending these three games for much longer periods than normal. In the Colchester v Peterborough game they suspended this completely ... a goal had not been scored until 70mins.
But this flawed my strategy of grouping games to green up when it reaches a certain % profit.
I have taken this up with them, but in this particular match they simply paid me BF points as if the trade WON. The odds had been 16.5 yet at half time
the odds had been significantly less.
Combining all three games still 0 - 0 would have resulted in a Net Profit ... In this instance two trades had not been enough profit to green up.
I find this highly suspicious, or simply to coincidental, have any of you encountered a similar issue with BF. I would really like to know ?
To pay me in BF points and yet deduct my stake i.e. a goal had been scored around the 70min mark in this game, beggars belief. Coupled up I would have been able to green up for a tidy profit.

This happened the other Saturday across all matches.

Betfair rely on a third party to provide data on what's happening at a match. Basically somebody sits in the ground and relays information to base. If that person doesn't turn up, fails to report correctly or they have an IT failure then Betfair will suspended the market and not re-open it.

I spoke to Betfair at length last week about this, but didn't really make much progress in coming up with an alternative for traders, though they do exist. I understand that Betfair are looking at ways of reducing their reliance on just the one supplier.

Yes I spoke to them also.
After listening to them pointing out their t&c's and them offering
me a small consolaton of a free £25 bet subject them
to them acknowledging they did have an issue with
the Colchester v Peterborough match.
I have decided to withdraw my funds until they sort issues out
like this.
On at least 3 occasions over the last 12 months their software as locked
out 1 hr before kick off on a Sat and not resumed until late on a Sat afternoon.
This is not acceptable IMO.
Good luck to you all.
