Add the capacity to make it a condition of a bet (back or lay) that the price is no more/less than x ticks from the other side of the book.
For example, for a market which currently shows the back price at, say, 4.00 and the lay at 4.60, it may not be your preferred choice to place a back bet at 4.00 while there is such a large tick differential.
