Hi I have checked and looked everywhere for an answer to my query but I cannot seem to find the answer I am looking for I hope I don't annoy experienced betangel customers if this is simple but its not to me at this moment I hope I get some help from you guys
how do you set up a green+stop/loss into an in running market and when one of these variables gets hit the other is cancelled
scenario
I have a back bet in a market matched, I want to green that bet if it hits a lower point inplay and also want to red if it hits a higher point in play.if the green is met I want the stop/loss to cancel and vice versa.im sure this has been asked before but I cannot find the exact way of doing this can anyone help please. my first post as iv just downloaded betangel im working in practice mode as its so daunting at the moment I cannot see myself coming out of practice mode anytime soon!!!
green+stop loss
On your search did you look in the user guide?
http://www.betangel.com/user-guide/
You are after a "Back bet", "offset with greening" (This puts in the lay bet when the back is matched), and a "stop" (This will place a stop bet a set number ticks above the back and cancel the offset) Make sure you put a fill-kill time in (so will cancel the original bet after a set number of seconds)
In-play can be very volatile so the chances of your stop working are slim as the price will probably shoot straight through it. I therefore don't use stops in-play.

thank you linusp yes I saw that offset option and felt that was where I needed to go. when I set the offset does it go inplay automatically or do I need to tick something else for it to go in play? I cannot see where I need to tick for it to go inplay so gather it does it automatically. I will have a go in pratice mode
I think I see where it is do I select keep and then it keeps my instruction inplay?
also does this only work on the one click view or will the offset work when placing bets on the ladder? I tried it on the ladder but it does not seem to work when I do it on one click it shows the offsetting in my unmatched bets but not when I place a bet on the ladder

Ditto Linus. De Man don't like stop losses in play coz punters can get out of jail for a small fee.
De Man wants de full wedge.
It's one of the imperfections of betting exchanges. In "pure" exchanges (I use the word loosely) you can place stop limit orders. Not betfair, yet. One day, perhaps...
