I am still in profits and football is what I am after because using excell settings in play concetrating on the draw is still profitable but because horses races bring something like 10 million pounds every day in to the market I was interested to make it full time among football ( those patterns are not made up it just raises questions, even betfair confirmed the investigations of some unsuall betting patters). I have just put a question on the forum to see if those things happens regularly or rarely to understand more what I thought was unsuall betting patters..I never said that someone is monotoring me alone but I may be amongs the 1000s that is laying or backing that same horse so in that case you need to understand my point before being so rude. It is something that could indeed be monitored with numbers and softwares so why not raise a question to see if other users had the same questions or thoughts. I raised that question only to find out if someone could indeed know everything about it and advice me where to find the answears . I did not expected to be verbaly rapped by couple losers. Dont forget that human instict is the best advisor, so if i feel something is not right I have to be caution and find the answears to my doubts...thank you.
If you saw my reply as rude then I apologise, I did not mean it to upset you.
There are lots of reasons why this happens but without seeing exact price points, market construction, volume of money etc etc I cannot make an accurate reply. I would be willing to wager it is simply an entry to a market at the incorrect time and the entry of money is at an incorrect point.
On the larger priced horses, there is very little volume matched and that makes it very dangerous to trade unless you are familiar with them and experienced enough to know when you can and cannot get involved. For example if you offer to lay a horse at 8.8 because it has drifted from 5.4 then there is every chance that 8.8 is pretty close to the top of its range. When you offer money anyone looking for value will see that money and take it. There are lots of experienced traders/gamblers who match this kind of money because they play a percentage game. They have a horse priced at 6.00 in their book so if someone offers 8.8 they are getting tremendous value which long term will prove profitable.
When your money is matched it can cause a lemming effect move where other people see this happening and they jump on board. There is very little money in this runner's market so it cannot support the price - the result is a collapse back down to the low price, a price where "value" seekers will not bet. The process then repeats and the price starts to rise back towards the 8.00 mark - provided there is enough time and enough money.
The same will be true of a reverse move which proved my point - if it works both ways then it cannot be anything other than market forces at work. I'm afraid you missed that point and just saw my comment as rude.
Why not in Football? Different market that last for 90 minutes of game time and many hours before game time. The market has a lot more money pro-rata and therefore has a totally different dynamic.
One thing I do concur with is - if you truly believe there is a "dark force" at work then you should give up now! Can you begin to imagine how many thousands of people there are on Betfair and how difficult it would be to monitor their activity and for what? The data to and from Betfair is encrypted so your position cannot be monitored either singularly or by the thousands!
Start questioning your methods rather than blame external dark forces!
One last thing I simply do not believe it was 40 out of 40 and you are massaging the figures to reinforce you view. I could click the screen on back or lay at the current prices on 40 separate races and it would be impossible to get 40/40 wrong! Set the stakes to the minimum and choose any runner priced around 5 -8 and see if you can manage it! Then post the log from Bet Angel on here! Then we will start to consider your anti tracking theory!
